I grew up loving choose your own adventure books. It occurred to me that with the popularity of reality tv shows, that fans want to be in control of “players” on a show. The Uni Student was my first choose your own romance, a modern and sexy take on romance.
Ava grew up in a small country town, working hard at school to fulfil her single goal to move away. It’s only as she’s about to move that the reality of leaving her childhood love hits. Alone in the city, she starts thinking about who she is and what she wants out of life. Is it her boyfriend or a man who can open up the world?
The main challenge in writing a choose your own romance is making sure each of the men are perfect in their own way. Read and let me know who you choose!
Cheating warning - As Ava takes time to explore who she is and what she wants out of life, there are times when she turns to a lover’s arms. That’s the whole point of choose your own romance - taking a woman at a cross road in her life and deciding which man will be her happily ever after.
